There's an incomplete feature where the appearance of some items differs depending on the aesthetic style of the stage they appear on. While water and ladders are not featured in a meaningful way, fighters do have unused Swimming and Climbing animations. Other stage elements include breakable barriers and platforms, such as the brick blocks of Mushroom Kingdom Stage hazards and enemies, such as Excitebike Racers, Space Invaders, and Bumpers and interactive objects such as warp pipes. Similarly, Transforming stages like Delfino Plaza, Castle Siege or Pokemon Stadium are either not available or have their transformations cut entirely. These edges are known as "walk-off edges" or "walk-offs" because characters can walk offscreen without the need to become airborne.ĭue to system limitations scrolling stages like Pac-Land, Rainbow Cruise or Icicle Mountain are not available in the game. Some stages, such as Excitebike Course, have floors that continue past the edge of the visible area and pass through a side blast line. Typically, stages involve a large central platform with ledges, multiple smaller platforms, and blast lines above, below, and to the left and right of the visible area. Stages range in size from the large Hyrule Temple to the small Smashville. Most stages are derived from places in playable characters' universes, but there's some derived from those without. series games are available from the start, though a small number must first be unlocked by completing certain objectives or by pressing F8 on the game's Title Screen. This was all by my discretion, so if there's anything you would prefer to be added back I'm all ears.Most versus mode stages in each of the Super Smash Bros. Not notable to the point where people would know the icons existed I don't have a full list of what I removed, but if you check the Posting Guide in the sidebar you can see which sponsor icons are still there. I think I removed one or two icons for Smash 4 (Alph is gone but I can add him back) and I removed roughly half of the sponsor icons. So to actually answer your question, not many icons were actually removed. There were some things that I initially removed but added back upon being prompted by other mods, such as the syntax for PM icons. I spent hours removing old stuff and cleaning up the bad coding, as well as removing other stuff we didn't need like custom names for old moderators.
